About Check SIM Owner Details

Check SIM Owner Details is an independent information guide that helps people in Pakistan use the telecom regulator’s own tools to see how many SIMs are registered against their own CNIC, understand the rules around SIM ownership, and know where to go when something looks wrong. We do not operate a lookup service, and we never will.

Independent guide No SIM lookup service Sources: PTA & the Pakistan Code

What We Do

Every mobile connection registered in Pakistan is tied to a CNIC, and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) already runs the official system for checking your own record — by SMS to 668, or on the web at cnic.sims.pk. Most people never learn this exists, or run into confusing, sometimes wrong, information when they search for it. Our job is narrow and specific: explain the real official channels clearly, in plain English and Roman-Urdu, correct the misinformation that circulates around this topic, and point people toward the right authority — PTA, NADRA, or the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) — when a channel we describe isn’t the right fit for their problem.

Every factual claim on this site is checked against a first-party source — PTA’s own FAQ and press releases, the text of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 as consolidated in the Pakistan Code, or dated news coverage of a specific regulatory change — before it gets published. Where we could not confirm something to that standard, we say so directly on the page rather than presenting a guess as settled fact. Our full approach is set out on the Editorial Standards page.

What We Don’t Do

We do not build, host, or link to any tool that looks up a stranger’s name, address, or phone records from a number or a CNIC. No legitimate service does this in Pakistan, for anyone, and a site that claims otherwise is either non-functional or collecting information from you rather than giving it to you. If you are trying to identify an unknown caller, our home page explains exactly why that isn’t possible through any official channel, and what to do instead.

We also don’t sell, resell, or repackage anyone’s registration data, and we don’t require you to create an account, submit your CNIC, or hand over any personal information to read this site.

Independence

Check SIM Owner Details is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by PTA, NADRA, or any mobile network operator. We describe their official channels because they are the correct, lawful answer to the questions this site covers — not because of any partnership or payment arrangement with them. Content decisions are made by our own editorial team, following the sourcing standards described on the Editorial Standards page.
